A rationale has been elaborated for the use of one-jaw elastopositioners with non-linear structural rigidity for the correction of anomalous position of frontal group teeth. The study included 48 patients. Patients of group 1 (n=24) were treated using one-jaw elastopositioners with non-linear structural rigidity manufactured by the by computer-assisted modeling technique, in group 2 (n=24) standard one-jaw elastopositioners were applied. Assessment of clinical efficiency of elastopositioners of the two types based on tooth position indices demonstrated advantages of one-jaw elastopositioners with non-linear structural rigidity over standard devices. The former, unlike the latter, ensure physiological parameters of occlusion and a 20% reduction in the duration of orthodontic intervention.
