The aim of this study is to improve the quality of examination and treatment of patients with chronic inflammatory diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses (PS) who suffer from snoring and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. The investigators examined a total of 100 patients who underwent complete ENT examination, PS multislice computed tomography, rhinomanometry, and respiratory monitoring during pulsoxymetry. According to the pattern and extent of a nasal and PS inflammatory process, all the patients were divided into four groups. In chronic inflammatory diseases of the nose and PS, the degree of nasal obstruction was found to affect the severity of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
