Abstract:

Basic of a research — lack of data on prevalence of behavioral risk factors among the drivers of locomotives (DL) Objective — studying of behavioral risk factors among DL. Material and methods. There were interviewed DL of all railways in Russian Federation. 9309 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. Results. The smallest burden of behavioral risk factors was registered on Octyabr’skaya and Privoljskaya railways, and the smallest burden of biological risk factors was registered on Vostochno-Sibirskaya and Transbaikal’skay railways. Smoked 36% respondents. 68% of DL consumed enough vegetables and fruits, about 1/3respondents ate irregularly or 1—2 times a day. BMI was 26.4±3.7 kg/m2. Symptoms of obesity had obtained in 16% DL. Levels of glucose and cholesterol were in norm. Conclusion. We received the basic for development of prevention programs for chronic noncommunicable diseases
