OBJECTIVE

To create a socio-demographic and phenotypic portrait of women with endometriosis based on the analysis of data from 53 patients using artificial intelligence.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

The study included 53 patients with endometriosis. Socio-demographic characteristics (education, profession), phenotypic features (skin, eye, and hair color), body type, birth weight, as well as physical activity patterns were analyzed. The data processing included a model for generating a typical portrait of a patient with endometriosis based on artificial intelligence.

RESULTS

The mean birth weight was 3157 g. Most patients had higher education (83%), belonged to the Caucasian race (100%), and had fair skin (77%). The normosthenic body type predominated (74%). The most common hair colors were brunette (38%) and brown-haired (32%), while the most common eye color was brown (49%). Regular physical activity was reported by 67% of women, while 28% had no physical activity at all.

CONCLUSION

A typical patient with endometriosis is a Caucasian woman with fair skin, normosthenic body type, most often a brunette or brown-haired woman with brown or green eyes, and having higher education. The obtained data are important for epidemiological studies and may be used for predicting the risk of endometriosis.
