Objective. To compare the hemostatic effects of the four-phasic E2B/dienogest (DNG) COC with a monophasic low-estrogen dose COC containing ethinylestradiol/levonorgestrel (LNG). Мaterial and methods. 30 women were divided into two equal groups to receive E2B/DNG or EE/LNG. Hemostatic parameters were evaluated at baseline and after three cycles of therapy. Results. D-dimer level changes were significantly less pronounced with E2B/DNG compared with EE/LNG (p<0,05). Other hemostatic parameters had no any significant changes in both groups. Conclusion. The COC with E2B/DNG had less pronounced effects on hemostatic parameters than EE/LNG.
