Abstract:

The authors report a rare adverse effect of non-invasive fatty tissue reduction and analyze literature data. Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) is more common in men. The described clinical case is interesting because PAH occurred in a woman. Moreover, data on PAH pathogenesis are also insufficient.
