Sinus histiocytosis of non-Langerhans cell type, or Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD), is a rare disorder with various clinical manifestations depending on the organ involved in the pathological process. This report presents current data and characteristics of registered cases of RDD with involvement of the larynx and tracheobronchial tree, along with a description of a clinical case of a patient with multifocal decompensated stenosis of the larynx and trachea. An optimized individual approach for airway recanalization is proposed.
