Abstract:

This communication deals with a complex and not fully resolved problem, which option of surgical treatment is more preferable for liver tumors of central localization, extended hemihepatectomy or median resection. It should be noted that the most aggressive approach to the parenchymal-sparing variant with the formation of biliodigestive anastomoses and preservation of the portal inflow to segment VII by imposing a venous portal anastomosis is presented in the clinical case. There are data from the largest publications, including meta-analyses, which compare the results of these operations in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, with metastases of colorectal cancer and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
