OBJECTIVE

To identify distribution options for HLA class II antigens in patients with LP.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

The study included 60 patients with lichen planus. The age of the subjects ranged from 18 to 87 years. The duration of the disease is up to 20 years. In the study course the distribution specificity of HLA class II antigens was analyzed.

RESULTS

The provoking role of the HLA-DRB1*1 and HLA-DRB1*10 antigens of lichen planus development has been reliably established. However, HLA-DRB1*7, DRB1*11 and DRB1*15 (DR2) are represented as a protective markers.

CONCLUSION

An associative relationship between the antigens of the HLA complex and lichen planus was established which confirms the special importance of using methods for determining immunogenetic factors at the early stages of diagnosing the disease.
