The results of Russian and international research have shown an important role of skin microflora in the development of allergic dermatoses: hypersensitivity of the skin to some antigenic stimuli, especially to pathogenic antigens; decrease in skin barrier resistance to pathogenic and opportunistic microflora, which in turn is among the important causes of recurrent course of diseases. It was reported that microbial flora of the skin causes complications in a significant proportion of patients with allergic dermatoses (45—90% of patients) and results in worsening of the underlying disease [1]. In this regard, elimination of effects of various infectious agents is a key direction in treatment of patient with dermatoses characterized by combined etiology [2]. Objective. The study is aimed at evaluating clinical efficacy and tolerability of Akriderm GK, topical combined glucocorticoid cream and ointment (betamethasone+gentamicin+clotrimazole), in routine dermatological practice in treatment of patients with steroid-sensitive dermatoses complicated by secondary bacterial and/or fungal infection. Materials and methods. We carried out a 4 week-long open observational study, which included 72 patients with steroid-sensitive dermatoses complicated by secondary bacterial and/or fungal infection. We described in detail dermatological status, determined dermatology life quality index (DLQI) before and after treatment in order to assess the effectiveness of the therapy. Results. Clinical efficacy of Akriderm GK ointment and cream (betamethasone+gentamicin+clotrimazole) was excellent in 70 (97.2%) patients and good in 2 (2.8%) patients. Tolerability of Akriderm GK ointment and cream (betamethasone+gentamicin+clo-trimazole) was excellent in 71 (98.6%) patients and good in 1 (1.4%) patient. There were no serious side-effects in the study. Tolerability of the therapy was good. Administration of Akriderm GK (betamethasone+gentamicin + clotrimazole) significantly improved DLQI of patients. Conclusions. The use of Akriderm GK cream and ointment (betamethasone+gentamicin+clotrimazole) results in high therapeutic efficacy and safety of topical treatment in patients with steroid-sensitive dermatoses complicated by secondary bacterial and/or fungal infection.
