The skin of psoriasis patients is characterized by an elevated nonspecific reaction to the action of triggering irritants, impaired barrier function, and increased trans-epidermal water loss with development of xerosis. This underlies the need for regenerative and cautious care to the skin. The care function is performed by emollients that can moisturize, soften, and nourish the skin, thereby restoring the feeling of comfort in patients. The authors evaluated the efficacy and safety of a regenerative body cream Topicrem SOS in combined treatment of patients with localized forms of psoriasis vulgaris. Decreased RASI and DLQI indexes, increased corneometry indices at affected areas, and a positive clinical effect were observed in all studied cases of combined treatment using Topicrem SOS. In this case, the ease and convenience of application of Topicrem SOS was noted by all patients. The efficacy, safety, convenience, and possibility of long-term use make it possible to recommend the regenerative body cream Topicrem SOS for combined therapy of psoriasis.
