Abstract:

The present review is focused on the analysis of clinical problems related to diagnostics of neurosyphilis that arise from the poor informative value of the routine techniques for its detection based on the results of laboratory studies. Much attention is given to the methods of liquorological investigations extensively used to expose the disease, evaluation of their efficacy, and peculiarities of clinical interpretation of the laboratory data.
