Contribution of the Institute of Clinical Cardiology named after A.L. Myasnikov in the studying the problem of pulmonary hypertension

During the last decade the interest to the problem of pulmonary hypertension has significantly increased in our country. The drugs of specific therapy. used for pulmonary arterial hypertension since the beginning of the XXI century, ensured the confidence of Russian doctors in the possibility of implementing the modern strategy of drug treatment aimed at achieving established therapeutic goals. The paper presents the main results of studies performed at the Institute of Clinical Cardiology named after A.L. Myasnikov, devoted to the study of pathogenesis, approaches to diagnosis and treatment of patients with various forms of pulmonary hypertension.
