Abstract:

The article presents the case of successful treatment of a rare congenital anomaly of the biliary system, true doubling of the gallbladder. A young woman of 26 years old was admitted for surgical treatment for acute cholecystitis. During laparoscopy, an anomaly of the gallbladder was detected in the form of doubling with the presence of a cystic duct in each bladder and a diffuse type of blood supply. The laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed with ligation and clipping of the cystic ducts. A histological examination revealed acute cholecystitis. The postoperative period was uneventful, the patient was discharged on the 6th day after the operation.
