OBJECTIVE

Linguistic adaptation of the Russian-language version of the Keele STarT MSK Tool questionnaire.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

Linguistic adaptation of the Russian-language version of the Keele STarT MSK Tool questionnaire was carried out in 5 stages, including direct and reverse translations, discussion by experts and testing of patients with musculoskeletal pain.

RESULTS

After linguistic adaptation, we obtained the Russian-language version of the Keele STarT MSK Tool questionnaire. This questionnaire is conceptually similar to original version and understandable for doctors and patients. This version consists of 2 separate forms. One of them is intended to be filled in by a clinician, the other one — for self-completion by patients (https://keelelicencing.org/tool-download).

CONCLUSION

The Keele STarT MSK Tool questionnaire allows stratifying patients with musculoskeletal pain into subgroups with low, moderate and high risk of unfavorable course for targeted treatment. The Russian-language version of this questionnaire is adapted and ready for assessing its psychometric properties.
