Abstract:

The publication is devoted to modern methods of diagnostics of thromboembolic complications in obstetric practice, including instrumental and laboratory ones. Data are presented on the incidence of these complications in pregnant women with extragenital pathology, including operated heart disease with mechanical valve replacement, arterial hypertension, obesity, thrombophilia, cirrhosis, brain tumors, hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes, cerebral venous thrombosis, and arteriovenous malformations. The questions of obstetric delivery of patients, treatment, rational methods of thrombosis prophylaxis, and prognosis for risks of thromboembolic complications development after the postpartum period are discussed.
