Abstract:

The article highlights the progression of infiltrative forms of endometriosis during pregnancy and the subsequent acute complications that often require surgical intervention. It is noted that these dangerous complications are clearly underestimated, due to their rarity and the corresponding lack of awareness among practitioners. The authors also discuss the idea that pregnancy against the background of deep infiltrative endometriosis is not always accompanied by improvement of symptoms and reduction of the progression of endometriosis.
