Abstract:

The number of observations of genital prolapse in combination with elongation of the cervix varies from 28 to 38.9% among all gynecological diseases while in 30% of women this diagnosis is made at the age of 28—45 years. A clinical observation of a 30-year-old female with pelvic bottom’s muscle insufficiency in combination with elongation and cicatricial deformity whose cervical prolapse underwent a Manchester operation (anterior colporrhaphy, amputation of the cervix with preservation of its 3 cm part and the imposition of Sturmdorf vicryl sutures on the anterior and the posterior lip of the cervix and 2 lateral ones, strengthening of the cervical stump due to cardiac ligaments, colpoperineolevatoroplasty). Such an operation enables the patient to re-reproduce and also prevents self-arbitrary abortion or premature delivery.
