AIM OF THE STUDY

Evaluation of effectiveness of using combined drug Brustan (1 tablet contains 400 mg of ibuprofen and 325 mg of paracetamol) to reducing pain syndrome due to various forms of dysmenorrhea in outpatient practice.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

The study included 30 female patients of age 20 to 35 with primary and secondary dysmenorrhea of various severity forms. During the study, drug frequency, pain relief effectiveness and side-effect manifestation were assessed.

STUDY RESULTS

Using of combined drug Brustan for 3 menstrual cycles lasting 1 to 3 days in female patients with various pain syndrome severity showed positive dynamics in reducing pain symptoms.

CONCLUSION

The study established the high positive effect of combined drug «Brustan» in the first days of menstrual cycle.
