Objective — to estimate the prevalence and proportion of ectopic pregnancy in the structure of reproductive losses in the Perm Territory in 2010—2016. Material and methods. The data of official statistical forms Nos 13, 14, and 32 for the Perm Territory and Perm for the period 2010—2016 were used in the study. The data on the number of women in fertile ages from the population census and demographic statistics of the Russian Federal State Statistics Service and the Territorial Body of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Perm Territory were used to calculate the rate of reproductive losses. Results. Analysis of the data showed an increase in reproductive losses by 12%. The prevalence of ectopic pregnancy in the Perm Territory increased from 17.4 to 19.1 cases per 1000 pregnancies, but its proportion in the structure of reproductive losses decreased from 19.8 to 15.2%. Conclusion. The information obtained from the study show the relevance of the problem of reproductive losses for science and practice, as an increase in their number in the Perm Territory (10.3 per 1000 women in fertile ages in 2016) is recorded. The prevalence of ectopic pregnancy in the Perm Territory has increased from 17.4 to 19.1 cases per 1000 pregnancies; thereby the problem associated with the reproductive potential of women with ectopic pregnancy is only on the rise. Further studies of risk factors for development and prevention of ectopic pregnancy are needed to explain the established trends.
