Objective — to develop drug correction of menstrual irregularities in patients with different types of hyperprolactinemia and to prepare them for pregnancy. Subject and methods. A cross-sectional study was conducted, by analyzing the outpatient cards of 200 women and 108 patients with different types of hyperprolactinemia underwent prospective examination and treatment. According to the type of hyperprolactinemia, all the patients were divided into 4 groups: 1) functional hyperprolactinemia; 2) pituitary microadenoma; 3) pituitary macroadenoma; and 4) the phenomenon of macroprolactinemia. The investigation used a standard set of laboratory and instrumental examinations (hormone tests, small pelvic ultrasound in combination with color Doppler flow mapping and Doppler ultrasound of the uterine vessels and intratumoral vessels, and brain magnetic resonance imaging in the pituitary area). Results. There was evidence for the high efficiency of combination treatment in patients with hyperprolactinemia, by using dopamine agonists and gestagens, as well as estrogens and ovulation-inducing agents, thyroid hormones, and hypoglycemic therapy (as indicated). Pregnancy occurred in 29 (56%) of the 52 patients planning it. Conclusion. Comprehensive pregravid preparation of patients with hyperprolactinemia for pregnancy could increase the frequency of its occurrence from 30 to 56% and reduce that of pregnancy losses in the early stages from 13.8 to 10.3%.
