Objective - to evaluate the efficacy of complex therapy of vaginitis and bacterial vaginosis in patients with concomitant virus-induced diseases of the cervix, vagina and vulva, using medication Vagiferon (vaginal suppositories). Subjects and methods. This paper presents the data analysis of the use case of medication Vagiferon in 64 patients of reproductive age (32 of them were with bacterial vaginosis and 32 - with nonspecific bacterial vaginitis) with concomitant virus-induced diseases of the cervix, vagina and vulva Results. The treatment efficacy rate for patients with bacterial vaginosis was 84.4%, and for patients with nonspecific vaginitis - 90.6 %. Additional positive effects of the medication Vagiferon were observed, specifically, a reduction in the incidence of viral infections of the cervix was noted as well as reduction in the size and area of anogenital warts. This results in the improved efficiency of subsequent therapeutic interventions for these patients. Conclusion. The medication Vagiferon is effective for treatment of patients with nonspecific vaginitis and bacterial vaginosis as well as with concomitant virus-induced diseases of the cervix and pointed genital warts.
