Abstract:

To define optimal approaches to organ-saving treatment for infiltrating endometriosis complicated by lesions of adjacent organs, a retrospective analysis of treatment was made in 124 reproductive-age patients with infiltrating endometriosis who were planning to become pregnant and had undergone surgical interventions at the Department of Endoscopic Surgery, Moscow Regional Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Moskvorechye Medical Center in 2004-2010. Reproductive organ-saving operations for adjacent organ lesions, which involved infiltrate dissection and surgical volume expansion, such as segmental colectomy, circular colectomy, ureterolysis, bladder resection, and uretero-cysto-anastomosis, were performed in all the cases.
