The review examines the psychoemotional characteristics of the patient’s personality that affect satisfaction with treatment results in aesthetic dentistry. When planning aesthetic dental treatment, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of the psychoemotional sphere of patients. For the correct analysis of the clinical situation and the choice of the optimal treatment method, it is important for a dentist to be able to differentiate between permanent and variable personality traits, as well as assess the level of anxiety and typological characteristics of the patient. Compliance with these recommendations will significantly improve the quality and effectiveness of the treatment, predict the degree of patient satisfaction with its results, and minimize the number of conflict situations.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
A preliminary assessment of the patient’s psychoemotional status before aesthetic dental treatment can be a predictive factor of satisfaction with its results. In dental practice, there are many methods for assessing the psychoemotional status of a patient at an outpatient appointment. To date, no final opinion has been formed on which tactics are preferable. An individual approach to each patient, careful planning of the upcoming treatment, collection of anamnesis, taking into account not only complaints, but also the wishes of the patient, assessment of behavioral reactions and previous experience of communication between the patient and doctors — all this must be taken into account for the success of the upcoming aesthetic dental treatment and the prevention of conflict situations associated with patient dissatisfaction with its results.
