Recent concepts of etiopathogenesis of virus-mediated neoplastic processes in the maxilliofacial region and oral cavity of the patients presenting with HIV/AIDS are considered. Methods of their diagnostics (including differential one) and treatment are described. Epidemiological data are presented that characterize dynamics of morbidity related to the development of Kaposi's sarcoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, the two most frequent malignant tumours associated with HIV and AIDS.
