Abstract:

An abnormal development of the maxillofacial skeleton, if it leads to atresia of the lacrimal duct, may also be one of the reasons for the development of dacryocystitis in newborns. This article presents a rare clinical observation of the examination and treatment of patient with congenital atresia of the nasolacrimal duct associated with aplasia of the half of the nose.
