Abstract:

The state of the human resources of medical organizations determines the quality and accessibility of the medical care provided to the population and the effectiveness of the functioning of the entire healthcare sector.

OBJECTIVE

To analyze the staffing of medical organizations in rural areas in the Nizhny Novgorod region, to establish the effectiveness of socio-economic measures to attract specialists to rural areas and their consolidation.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

Based on the analytical, statistical methods, content analysis and the method of expert assessments, an analysis is made of the system for creating human resources for medical organizations in rural areas, as well as monitoring the effectiveness of socio-economic measures to stimulate rural health professionals in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS

New information has been received regarding the socio-demographic and professionally motivational characteristics of targeted students and young rural health professionals. Criteria have been developed for the effectiveness of the center for promoting employment of graduates of a medical university in terms of evaluating measures to promote employment in rural medical facilities. A set of measures has been proposed to optimize the interaction of universities, the territorial health management body and a rural medical institution.
