Abstract:

Complex state of Russian public health in the sphere of family planning and abortion actuate design and search of an effective methods for prevention of unwanted pregnancies and preservation of reproductive health. For this reason combined oral contraceptives (COC) could be an useful tool for health care professionals. Folate-containing COC (Yas Plus, for example) have some additive medical benefits for woman which figure on pregnancy in the nearest time. This article demonstrate the positive influence on homocysteine level and some other benefits of such remedies for folate-containing COC.
