Abstract:

The relationship between lifestyle and male reproductive health is discussed. Own and literature data about the impact of excess weight, smoking, alcohol, diet and sugar-caffeine beverages, non-steroidal analgesics, dyssomnia and environmental pollutants on qualitative and quantitative sperm characteristics is presented. The possibilities to reduce the infertility risk due to lifestyle changes and environmental regulations are discussed.
