Abstract:

RELEVANCE

In surgical practice, diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles, as a separate nosology, and in combination with umbilical hernias and hernias of the white line of the abdomen remains an urgent problem. Despite the large number of surgical ways to eliminate a hernial defect without suturing the diastasis, hernia recurrences are noted in 20% of cases.

OBJECTIVE

To experimentally substantiate the original surgical access for performing surgical correction of diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

An original minimally invasive surgical approach was proposed to eliminate diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles. The proposed accesses were performed on 9 corpses during the experiment. The features of access parameters depending on the constitutional type of a person were studied.

RESULTS

A significant (p<0.05) influence of the constitutional type on the parameters of the wound depth and the angle of inclination of the axis of surgical action was revealed. When comparing the parameter of the angle of surgical action on sectional material with different constitutional body types, no significant difference in measured values was obtained (p>0.05).

CONCLUSION

The parameters of the original minimally invasive surgical access for the elimination of diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles, revealed in an experimental study on sectional material, suggest the effectiveness of the technique in clinical practice.
