The purpose of the study. Evaluation of the effectiveness of biological dressing based on collagen and digestase as a wound coating for wounds of different genesis according to non-contact thermometry data.Materials and methods. In the period from January to September 2019, the quality of surgical care was retrospectively evaluated for patients who sought medical care for the treatment of small purulent wounds of various localizations with an area not exceeding 1 cm2. Primary surgical treatment of the wound was performed according to the classical method, as well as using a collagen dressing with digestase. The Wong Baker pain rating scale was used in combination with the Wong Baker facial scale to assess patients’ painful sensations for one-time use. The skin temperature in the area of the lesion was studied before application with the help of infrared thermometer CEM-Thermo Diagnostics. The measurement was made 2 times a day (before and after Digestol dressing) 3 times, then the average was calculated (arithmetic mean of 3 measurements).The results. Local application of collagen and digestase based sponge leads to faster regeneration processes based on objective measurement of the lesion area and contactless thermometry.Conclusion. Complex use of collagen preparations on the basis of digestase at treatment of small wounds with trophic disorders provides qualitative tissue regeneration, and application of the method of contactless thermography allows to determine in due time the severity of the pathological process and to prevent development of complications.
