Abstract:

Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN2) is a tumor process arising from congenital autosomal dominant defect in the RET gene that is located at chromosome 10q11.2, consists of 21 exons, and manifests itself in different variations. Sipple’s syndrome (MEN 2A) is most often based on a set of clinical, anamnestic, and instrumental data due to the lack of targeted diagnostic methods. In this connection, we report on a clinical case and difficulties in the timely diagnosis of a concurrence of a rare Sipple’s syndrome (MEN 2A) with malformation of the aortic arch and its branches and anomalous origin of the right subclavian artery (arteria lusoria), including atopy of the non-recurrent right inferior laryngeal nerve.
