The paper describes a clinical case of complete morphological regression of cardioesophageal cancer after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy. Radiotherapy using a total focal dose of 46 Gy was performed during chemotherapy with the modified capecitabine plus oxaplatin (CAPOX) regimen. D2 gastrectomy was performed. The morphological study of a resected specimen showed grade 1A therapeutic pathomorphism (according to the classification described by K. Becker et al. 2003).
