The paper gives the results of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) assay using molecular probes for the specific hTERC and c-MYC genes in different grades of cervical dysplasia and cancer. The FISH assay allows one to diagnose different grades of cervical neoplasia with great accuracy and to enhance the probability of detecting cases of tumors at high risk of progression.
