The paper describes a procedure for making an ureteroreservoir anastomosis in patients with bladder cancer after cystectomy. The anastomosis is made from the ureteral wall cuff protruding into the reservoir lumen with the distal ureteral wall being inverted. The procedure can prevent the development of reservoir-ureteral reflux after implantation of the ureter with an extended luminal diameter due to long existing hydroureteronephrosis and reduce the risk of scarring stenosis in the area of ureteral implantation and the percentage of scarring stenosis and development of end-stage urinary calculi in the anastomotic area.
