Atrophy of the skin and soft tissues in focal scleroderma of the face is a severe aesthetic defect, seriously reducing the patient’s quality of life. Objective — to evaluate modern methods of aesthetic medicine for the correction of atrophy of the skin and soft tissues of the face. Material and methods. Considering the severity of soft tissue volume deficiency on the affected side, limitations for the use of both permanent and biodegradable fillers, related to the nature of the disease, the presence of allergic reactions in the medical history and the patient’s age, lipofilling was chosen as the method of correction. The volume deficit was corrected in two surgical sessions, which allowed to achieve an adequate aesthetic outcome. Additionally, injections of botulinum toxin type A into the muscles of the perioral region were used as an additional method of symmetrization. The lipofilling surgery was performed in two stages with an interval of 6 months. Results. The patient was satisfied with the final results of the correction, which had positive effect on her emotional status. Conclusion. The interaction of dermatologists, cosmetologists and plastic surgeons allows to improve the results of treatment and significantly improve the quality of life.
