Abstract:

False aneurysm of sinus of Valsalva is a rare life-threatening complication usually resulting from infectious and/or degenerative process, trauma or cardiac surgery. Sinus of Valsalva aneurysm is a rare anomaly with incidence <0.1% in general population. We describe surgical treatment of a patient with false aneurysm of the right coronary sinus and thrombosis of the right coronary artery.
