Metastatic tumors of the heart are rare. Secondary clots and benign neoplasms are the most common lesions. Metastatic lesions of the heart became widespread in recent years. New diagnostic technologies and better survival of cancer patients can increase the number of metastatic heart tumors in the future. Therefore, awareness on these lesions and appropriate clinical manifestations increases the likelihood of timely diagnosis. The most available and common method is transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. CT, MRI and PET/CT can provide additional information about characteristics of tumor. We present metastatic lesion of the left atrium in a patient with primary gluteal leiomyosarcoma. Echocardiography revealed left atrium tumor 40×36 mm with obstruction of pulmonary veins. Surgery was successfully performed.
