Abstract:

To date, the problem of endovascular mitral valve implantation has no final solution. Various studies are usually devoted to valve implantation into a degenerated mitral bioprosthesis. There are only a few cases of valve implantation after previous ring annuloplasty. This case report describes our first experience of successful valve implantation into a rigid open mitral ring.
