Abstract:

The authors reported surgical treatment of the left subclavian artery aneurysm in a 34-year-old female with Marfan syndrome and aortic aneurysm. In 2006, the patient underwent aortic root and ascending aorta replacement with aortic valve reimplantation (David I surgery) and mitral valve repair. In 2012, the patient underwent thoracoabdominal aorta replacement for the newly diagnosed aneurysm type IV. Left subclavian artery aneurysm was revealed in 2016 and implantation of stent-graft was performed. Pain and numbness in the left upper limb appeared in 2017. CT angiography revealed stent-graft collapse with contrast agent leakage into the aneurysmal sac and blood flow impairment in the left upper limb. Stent-graft was removed and the left subclavian artery replacement was performed. Normal function of prosthesis and adequate circulation in the left upper limb are observed throughout 3-year follow-up.
