Abstract:

Abstract It is presented case report of patient with infectious endocarditis who underwent aortic valve replacement and subsequent redo aortic valve and ascending aortic replacement using fresh allograft. It was shown that rapid preparation for surgery and application of allograft contributed to favorable outcome. Timely diagnosis of complications of infective endocarditis, adequate conservative treatment and early surgical intervention require interdisciplinary approach, communication and continuity between regional and federal centers of cardiovascular surgery.
