Abstract:

It was performed clinical and functional evaluation of technique of the aortic root reimplantation into prosthesis in surgical correction of ascending aorta aneurysms with associated aortic insufficiency. 36 patsients underwent reconstruction of ascending aorta for the period from March 2011 to July 2013. Patients were divided into 2 groups: group FS (n=20) included patients after aortic root reimplantation into the prosthesis and group D (n=16) consisted the patients after David's surgery. Postoperatively the degree of aortic regurgitation according to echocardiography data decreased from 2,5±0,9 to 1,0±0,7 in group FS (p=0,0005) and from 3,1±0,6 to 1,1±0,6 in group D (p=0,0004). The degree of aortic insufficiency did not differ in both groups after surgery (p=0,64). It was noted in one deaths in each group. Analysis of the application of aortic root reimplantation into the prosthesis shows consistently good clinical results in the early postoperative period. By its functional result this surgical technique does not yield to conventional reimplantation of the aortic valve into prosthesis (David's surgery).
