Abstract:

Original variant of aortic arch reconstruction that doesn't require any specific brain protection during the operation is described. Method is rather simple, includes aortic arch mobilization and exoprosthesis replacement with fixation of exoprosthesis between orifices of brachiocephalic branches and distal to adventitia of aortic arch. Experience of 15 reconstructions is presented with good short-term results.
