Abstract:

Our appeal to the readers of well-known medical journals was caused by concern about how clinicians may perceive the information presented by colleagues phlebologists on the problem of pulmonary embolism (PATE). One could only welcome the articles of young, undoubtedly talented and already well-known scientists from St. Petersburg and Moscow, devoted to this common and dangerous pathological condition, in the central press, if it were not for two circumstances.
