The guidelines for perioperative management of patients with ventricular tachycardia are presented in the article. Brief information about life-threatening arrhythmias and risk factors of ventricular arrhythmias in perioperative period is presented. Recommendations for assessment of anesthesia risk and main diagnostic methods including interpretation of prolonged QT interval are given. Tactics for treatment of ventricular tachycardia is described, indications for cancellation of elective surgery are presented. Principles of anesthesia in patients with ventricular arrhythmias and special traits of arrhythmias therapy during and after surgery are highlighted. Basic criteria of medical care quality control are presented.
