Abstract:

The purpose of this tutorial is to demonstrate the possibilities of aeroionotherapy in rehabilitation of patients with various diseases. The authors present the algorithm for choosing the method of introducing ionized molecules and including the method into the treatment process. Etiology and pathogenesis of the effect of altered air environment on the body of a healthy and sick person are analyzed. Considering available literature and own clinical data, the authors summarize information regarding aeroionotherapy in the treatment of patients with various diseases. Mechanisms of disease prevention are determined. Effectiveness of aeroionotherapy is assessed.
