The research shows force-separation relation between layer thickness of Corega adhesive denture cream applied on lower jaw’s models and denture basis itself. Four high strength die stone models with different wax isolation layers (0 mm; 0.3 mm; 0.5 mm; 1 mm) were prepared for further production of acrylic denture. Isolation thicknesses were verified by measuring light body c-silicone thickness, applied under each basis. Humidity and temperature of oral cavity were imitated during experiments. Mandible acrylic model with applied cream and denture was mounted on a tripod. A plastic 5-liter bottle was rigidly attached to denture basis with nylon straps. While experiment, bottle was filling with water until denture disassemble from jaw model. Results show that separation force increases with decreasing cream’s thickness.
