The relevance of the problem is due to a larger number of patients with vulvar lichen sclerosus concurrent with papillomavirus infection. At the same time, in spite of the fact that there is a rather wide range of their treatments, it is not always possible to control the course of the disease. Objective — to improve therapy in patients with vulvar lichen sclerosus. Subject and methods. Fifteen patients diagnosed with vulvar lichen sclerosus were followed up. All the patients underwent clinical, bacterioscopic, bacteriological, and molecular genetic examinations. They all received outpatient combination therapy using Panavir as an intravenous solution and topical and local gel in conjunction with platelet-rich autoplasma. Results. Papillomavirus infection types 16, 18, 31, and 33 DNA were detected in all the patients. The patients with the initial manifestations of lichen sclerosus and papillomavirus infection exhibited pronounced positive changes in the subjective and objective symptoms of the disease after two cycles of combination therapy using Panavir as an intravenous solution and topical and local gel in conjunction with intradermal platelet-rich autoplasma at a 30-day interval. Conclusion. The use of Panavir solution and gel and platelet-rich autoplasma was highly effective in the combination therapy in patients with lichen sclerosus and papillomavirus infection.
