Objective - to evaluate the efficacy of a therapeutic and prophylactic set using the anti-adhesive barriers mesogel and Intercoat gel or longidase to prevent an adhesive process in the small pelvis and to preserve uterine tubal patency after surgical treatment for unintended fallopian pregnancy. Subject and methods. Organ-sparing surgery for progressive tubal pregnancy was performed via laparoscopic access in 150 reproductive-aged women, among whom 64 patients received the anti-adhesive agents mesogel and Intercoat gel (a study group) whereas 86 patients had no anti-adhesive barriers intraoperatively (a control group). Longidase was postoperatively used in the combination therapy of the patents in the study group. Results. To evaluate the efficiency of a method to prevent uterine tubal occlusion and an adhesive process, uterine tubal patency was monitored by echohysterosalpingography 6 months postsurgery. The patency of the uterine tube operated was found to be preserved in 91% of the patients in the study group and only in 47.8% of those in the control group. In the study group, the recovery rate for uterine tubal patency was 1.94-fold higher than that in the control group. Conclusion. The used procedure entailing the anti-adhesive barriers in combination with longidase, which appreciably reduce the rate of recurrent adhesiogenesis and can preserve the patency of the uterine tube operated and the health of a woman, has been ascertained to be effective.
