Abstract:

The paper presents the results of evaluation of the efficacy of metformin used to prevent ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) in gonadotropin-stimulated cycles in 39 clomiphene-resistant patients. There is evidence to substantiate the use metformin to prevent moderate and severe OHSS along with follicle-stimulating hormone preparations to be continued for 2 weeks after ovulation triggering.
